Mount Gardner Mandala

This mandala was painted in 2020, in honour of 2,408 foot Mount Gardner, which stretches the length of Bowen Island. It’s a beautiful mountain that looms impressively above the island and offers amazing hikes to two magnificent scenic lookouts. The first of these lookouts, on a sunny day, commands a clear view of the ocean all the way to Nanaimo (Snuneymuxw traditional territory) and beyond. The second overlooks Vancouver and beyond it to Mount Baker.

The original is three foot by three foot – acrylic on stretched canvas.
